A Reminder Of Purpose

A test run of a piece for one of the chapters of Scorpio's first book,

I've changed the scene quite a lot since but really liked this test image, so I thought that I would share it, there's no bigger view as I was more focused on posing and getting the lighting to be right.

The scene is about Scorpio awakening from a poisoning and discovering that Ebrima has been waiting for her to rise for some days, it's a very deeply emotional and quite sweet piece in the story and in truth it's pretty rare to see Scorpio smile.

The image for me also reminds me why I started this monster of a story, creating all these worlds, tribes and people with the purpose of telling a story of two people surviving a world that is tearing itself apart. It also reminds me why I have to keep going with it, no matter how vast it become or how long it takes, I will tell this story.
