Reversed Polarity

This is a strange render for me, a passage of time coming full circle in some ways.

This is a reworking of one of the first images I ever published featuring Savena, with her as a fairy that had fallen into Evelyn's wine glass.

It's one of the most popular renders I have ever produced and one of my personal favourites too.

With Savena now maturing and with a new story of her coming to pass, in some ways it felt a fitting tribute to remake the entire scene.

The original was of course from my early days with Blender and Cycles as my rendering tool.

For me it is interesting to see how much my abilities with Blender have evolved and improved but also how Savena will be taking the lead as Evelyn steps aside to let an entirely new direction take shape in the next year.

Yet for all the improvements and changes, none of them would have come to pass without Evelyn being the humble shoulders that all have stood upon.
