Sublime (Sunlight and skin reactivity test)

Details matter, and when it comes down to a primary character every detail matters,

Evelyn is described and detailed in an exacting way as a deeply tanned petite redhead in my completed book Life Downside Up and the book about her Sleepy Hollow which is now 70 percent complete so it was not an easy call to make to switch software especially as it has meant rebuilding her from the ground up. As such my every effort for almost an entire month has been dedicated to getting her to look... well like Evelyn again that has meant every detail being tested and checked over in meticulous detail to get her just right.

This test is about getting a full idea of the cascade of light and how it affects her skin under the differing types of shade and sunlight, being able to see the way light and shadows affect her appearance and how it works with her natural shapes and contours is hugely important as without her looking correct then everything written about Evelyn becomes meaningless.

However an unwavering perseverance is its own reward as I think she is pretty much bang on though I need to work on getting her freckles back in place and maybe a few subtle tweaks, otherwise I'm pretty pleased with how she has turned out in sunlight and shadows.

Though the job is far from complete as it is under moonlight and dark light where Evelyn has to really come into her own.
