Digital Slavery

I was thinking about how people become so obsessed with their phones and computers that they almost start talking about them like they are an actual member of their family or a piece of the very fabric of their being rather than the tools that they are.

I found myself watching people at work shun any form of human contact so that they could check their Facebook or play a game etc and wondered how that oddly self absorbed world might appear through the eyes of a being that had never experienced that strangely immersive digital slavery where they sit just mindless tapping away at a screen.

Anyway these are where my thoughts led me and the by product of that strange hour at work watching self made digital slavery in action.
